The Foundry — Loft No. 4

The Foundry was a brass works until 1974 and was converted in 2015 by a developer who left the good bones alone. Loft No. 4 occupies the quiet north-east corner of the second floor, with windows on two elevations.

The living space runs the full depth of the building beneath an exposed timber deck ceiling. A mezzanine study overlooks it. The two bedrooms are set behind an insulated core, so the apartment is far quieter than its scale suggests.
